Kids Art Studio is explicitly built for young children and families. We strictly adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), EU General Data Protection Regulation for Children (GDPR-K), and Google Play Families Policy requirements. We do not collect, track, or share any personal identifiable information from children.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
We believe in privacy by design. When your child uses Kids Art Studio:
- We do not request or store personal details such as real names, email addresses, home addresses, age, or phone numbers.
- We do not collect persistent device identifiers for advertising purposes.
- We do not use targeted behavioral advertising, third-party analytics trackers, or profiling SDKs.
- We do not store user-generated artwork or photos on external cloud servers.
2. Device Permissions & Local Processing
Kids Art Studio utilizes specific hardware permissions exclusively to enable local interactive features. None of this data ever leaves your device:
- Camera Permission (Magic Masks AR): Used solely to display real-time interactive face masks on screen using local computer vision processing (`@mediapipe/tasks-vision`). Camera frames are processed instantly in device memory and are never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
- Local Storage Permission: Used to save your child’s drawings, coloring progress, pet care status, and unlocked stickers directly on your local device storage (`IndexedDB` / `LocalStorage`).
- Audio / Speaker Permission: Used to output interactive piano notes, xylophone melodies, sound effects, and letter phonics. No audio recording is conducted.
3. Parental Gate & In-App Purchases
Kids Art Studio may offer optional premium features (such as extra coloring packs or virtual pet items). To protect children from accidental purchases:
- All purchase screens, external store links, and settings are protected behind a secure Parental Gate (requiring solving an adult mathematics equation).
- All financial transactions are handled exclusively through Google Play Store Billing APIs. We never handle or see your credit card or payment information.
4. Offline Accessibility
Kids Art Studio is designed to function 100% offline once downloaded. Children can enjoy coloring, guided drawing, tracing, music, virtual pet care, and mini-games safely in Airplane Mode or without an active internet connection.
